  1. We caught the 4 in the 7th yesterday for $12 bucks even though that race was a Maiden Special Weight race as this was second choice in the morning line.

We missed the 4 in the 8th as this was also second choice in the morning line we should have had this paying $10 really missed an opportunity here. I hate missing these no excuses.

We tried to go three deep in the 11th to make it back up and got burned by the 4 paying $8.90. Should have made $22 bucks on the day or at a minimum $16 bucks due to playing $6 bucks in the 11th.

Today looks to be a rainy day and the number 1 since January of this year has won 3 of the last 8 Maiden Claiming races on an off track (muddy, good, sloppy, etc.).

Also prices paying under $8 for Maiden Claiming races on and off track has happened 4 of the last 11 times or 36.3% today might be a day to beat the favorite.

Morning line for the 1 in the 4th, 5th and 9th races is showing 50-1, 30-1 and 12-1 respectively.

Today we will go three deep in the 4th and go with the 3, 6 and 8 will try to beat the 3 if it’s an off track.
In the 5th will try to beat the 6 and go with the 2 and the 8.

  2. Really like the number 1 in the 2nd tomorrow as the number 1 has won 6 of the last 14 maiden special weight races.
Which is a 42.8% win percentage giving a return of 22% on the dollar.

In addition the number 1 has won 7 of the last 22 maiden special weight races since 2009 at 1 mile & 70 yards.
Which is a 31.8% win percentage giving a return of 51% on the dollar at this condition and distance over the past two years.

Keep in mind that prices paying under $8 since 2009 at 1 mile & 70 yards in maiden special weight races has been happening only 47.8% of the time.

That said I also like the number 1 in the 6th as well and the number 7.

  3. I like the 6 in the 9th tomorrow as the number 6 has won 5 of 11 maiden claiming races at a mile since January of this year. Which is 45%.

Also keep in mind that prices paying under $8 in maiden claiming races at 1 mile since January of this year has been happening 54% of the time.

That said I also like the 3 in the 9th as well.
